Tindall England, P.C. strongly urges clients to consider alternatives to litigation of family law disputes. In addition to collaborative law, the attorneys in the firm are strong proponents of mediation and arbitration. In mediation, a neutral third party, the mediator, assists the parties and their attorneys in reaching an amicable resolution of their dispute without the necessity of a final trial or hearing before the court. In arbitration, the parties enter into an agreement to submit their disputes to an arbitrator who will serve as the judge in their case. Usually, this provides families with privacy that they would not receive at the courthouse and can often save valuable time and money by having the dispute resolved in a less formal manner.
Both Harry L. Tindall and Angela Pence England are experienced family law mediators and have received certification as arbitrators by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
